Crown and Trumpet - History

The exterior of the Crown and Trumpet at Broadway has hardly changed over the many years. This picture shows the Inn some time around the late 1950s to early 1960s

This is how the Inn looked in the 1930s.

This picture was taken during the First World War and shows a cannon outside the Inn. This was either the crew stopping for well earned refreshments, or the Landlord having some trouble with his locals!

Finally, a glimpse of how the High Street of Broadway looked in the 1930s.
